I usually don't really like first books of a series - but this book is amazing! If you have not read it - or added it to you TBR stack - ADD IT NOW!
I would have finished this book sooner, but I was sick for 3 days during my reading time frame :( So really I finished this book in 2 days. It is a great read - actually really easy to read and easy to follow. There is great information all the way through so it is easy to keep up. I didn't really feel confused or lost at all!

This story is about Alexa and her journey of finding out what she is and how she plays a part in saving the world... kind of ;) I love this story because Alexa is so real, so believable. She is pissed in general and wants what every teenager wants... then she learns she doesn't want it at all. This story has everything - adventure, mystery, and just a little romance.
I don't want to say much because I will just spoil the book for you - so please take my advice - get a copy of this book and read it!!
